Discipleship Bible Groups
(DBG 2)
About Initiative
Discipleship Bible Groups (DBGS), Disciple Makers (DMs) are encouraged to gather small groups of 5 to 15 individuals for regular, life-giving meetings centered around prayer, worship, Bible study, and fellowship. As these groups multiply, they spark spiritual renewal in families, neighborhoods, and workplaces, often cutting across denominational lines. The result is a growing movement of believers committed to living out the Gospel and making a lasting impact in their communities.
DBGs 2 NORTHERN GHANA
OTTN’s Discipleship Bible Groups (DBGs) are making a transformative impact across Northern Ghana, reaching both adults and children in communities such as Pusiga, Bongo Adaboya, Sankpagla, Baayili, and Jankpaglayili. Dedicated disciple-makers are engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, including Muslim students, widows, and marginalized groups, using prayer, Bible study, mentorship, and personal relationship to nurture faith.
Children’s DBGs are also expanding rapidly, showing strong engagement among the younger generation.
Across Northern Ghana, OTTN disciple-makers are combining practical outreach with intentional Bible teaching, sharing stories of personal salvation, and walking life-on-life with new believers. Their efforts are bearing fruit in transformed lives, growing faith, and strengthened communities, reflecting the power of Christ’s Word and the effectiveness of small group discipleship in nurturing lasting spiritual growth.
DBGs 2 NORTHERN UGANDA
OTTN is making steady progress in discipleship work in Northern Uganda and among South Sudanese refugee communities. Through trained disciple-makers, Discovery Bible Groups (DBGs) are being formed across communities to nurture new believers and strengthen their faith.
These small groups bring together 5 to 15 people for regular times of prayer, worship, Bible study, and fellowship. Through this simple and relational approach, believers are growing spiritually, building meaningful relationships, and learning to live in obedience to God’s Word. As a result, many communities are experiencing spiritual renewal and lasting transformation.
The gospel is not an invitation to a better life; it is a call to a new one
